An Introduction to the 2025 Mazda CX-70

The first-ever CX-70 arrives this year as a mid-size SUV with standard leather-trimmed seating for five. Front-seat passengers enjoy heated seats, while rear-seat passengers get retractable window shades, reclining seats, and 39.4 inches of legroom. The climate control system is customizable with three separate settings for the driver, front passenger, and rear passengers. A power moonroof is standard, but you can also choose an available panoramic moonroof that extends a view of the sky to the rear-seat passengers.The CX-70’s cargo area adapts to your needs with standard storage boxes and under-floor storage. Using a remote electronic release handle, you can fold the 60/40 split rear seats to expand the cargo area from 39.6 to 75.3 cubic feet of space. Unmatched Performance

Under the hood of the CX-70, you’ll find one of two 3.3-liter inline 6 turbocharged mild hybrid engines that are both powerful and efficient. The standard engine creates 280 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque, while the optional engine generates 340 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and both engines achieve an EPA-estimated 25 MPG combined efficiency.Thanks to its standard 4-wheel independent suspension and Kinematic Posture Control, the CX-70 is incredibly stable through curves. Its standard i-ACTIV AWD provides power to all four wheels when it’s required, but sends power to the rear wheels under normal conditions to further optimize steering and handling. Drivers can adjust the CX-70’s responsiveness and traction with Mazda Intelligent Drive’s modes, including Sport, Off-Road, and available Towing.

With standard features like rain-sensing windshield wipers and High Beam Control that switches to low beams when another vehicle is detected, the CX-70 makes everyday driving more convenient than ever.
