Engine (Power)

The base powertrain for the Mazda3 is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 191 horsepower. It uses a six-speed automatic transmission and comes with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 2.5 Turbo has a 2.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that develops 227 horsepower with regular gas and 250 horsepower with 93 octane gas. This engine comes with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission.
